Friday Again???
Crazy Horse- God I'm feeling good these days. Nothing like good news from the dr to lift that 10 ton monkey off a lady's back. But I feel thankful for my life in general. We as a society are so programmed not to be happy. "You're not a millionaire, you can't be happy." "You're not as skinny as a swimsuit model, so once you are, you can be happy." "Unless you live in a macmansion, you are a failure, especially if you live in a trailer." "Your skin sags and ya ain't got the $$ for surgery, go hide under a rock, you're old and worthless."
What crap. We are programmed to buy all this shit in order to make us happy. We have supposed to fit into some narrow definition of what a successful person is or looks like.
But I'm happy. I'm not skinny, I live in a trailer, Im not rich, and my skin is starting to sag. But I feel good about my life. One of the things that make me feel good are my friends. I'm rich when it comes to good friends.
AJ Cates is the dude in the pictures. I met AJ 12 years ago at the HD Drags in Memphis. he said he lived in a mansion liek Graceland only bigger. I though he was full of shit. Then 6 months later I visited him and found out it was true.
We went on to have quite an adventure on the bike trip to Florida. It is a twisted tale that at the time I wished I had realized that I would be the last truly wild ride for any of us complete with sex, drugs, stalkers, strippers, and motorcycles.But I got to see AJ for the first time since that trip. I stopped on my way out to Vegas.
Well more later, as my breakfast in burning and the sun is comin g and warming up the frozen landscape. Tune in again tomorrow!

Ya always keep me hangin' in suspense. J.B. I wanna know more about the last wild ride! LOL!!! All I can say is we all grow older and wiser thru the years. It shure is nice when ya can reconnect with friends from the past and relive some memories and feel those same happy feelins ya had when ya knew them back then. Take care!
Yep totaly agree JoAnn. If I could post pictures I'd show me and the Savage (my wife and faithful Indian companion) 30 years ago and now. We have been married 34 years. I've tried to convince her to ride her own bike, offered to build her anything she wants, but she prefers to be a chain strecher and what the hell, I love feeling her presseed against me when we ride. AL
Sounds like you have a pretty good marriage. I hope you know how rare that is!
